Holy freaking gonads! It's a Christmas miracle!

Got a call from Ross' urologist today. Ross has been on the new medication for almost a month, so the doctor had Ross go in to have blood work done so that they could see what effect its had on his testosterone level, and that's what the doctor called about today - he had the results of Ross' blood work.

A normal testosterone level for a guy Ross' age is between 500 - 1,000 ng/dL (nanograms per deciliter). Previous to the medication, Ross' testosterone level was 120 ng/dL, which is why he felt so bad and why the doctors were so concerned. But, after just a month on the medication the urologist prescribed, Ross' testosterone level is a robust 900 ng/dL. That's a 900% increase and, rather than having low testosterone, Ross is now in the upper percentile.

This is such incredible news I can barely comprehend it. Ross suffered from this condition for years, it had devastating effects on his life, countless doctors said the problem was undiagnosable and had no solution, and we thought we might not be able to have kids because of it. But now, thanks to this urologist, the problem is solved. Ross' testosterone is normal, his mood has greatly improved, his energy has increased, and he's a happy camper these days. That's exactly what we hoped for and we're thrilled about it, but also a bit stunned. Suffice it to say that when a problem of this magnitude just up and disappears, it's enough to make your head spin.

Man, talk about a great week. First Ross found out that he's getting a raise at work and now comes the news that his testosterone has skyrocketed as well. But I suppose that when you start going to a fertility specialist with a name like Dr. Fuch, you should expect results. And, no, I'm not kidding, the fertility doctor's name really is Dr. Fuch. Of course, he pronounces it as Fyook but, regardless of how you say it, that guy is fuching incredible!
