Happy Birthday to Ross!
A beautiful late summer day, lunch and coffee with our good friends Ringo and Kamarin, a lovely afternoon watching UP beat PSU 4-0, a little impromptu birthday shopping later in the day, followed by the somewhat untraditional birthday pie (Ross prefers pie to cake) and the opening of presents.
A great day all around, definitely one of the best birthdays either of us has had in a few years, and for that I am glad. Ross' last few birthdays were kind of rough, what with how stressful life was at the time and our finances having been so tight back then, and he really deserved to have a happy, worry-free birthday, and I think we managed that for him.
Although, I think the one thing Ross wanted more than anything was to know that those pregnancy tests really are accurate, but he's going to have to wait a little longer for that. I've taken a few more pregnancy tests - a grand total of seven so far - and they've all been positive, so we're actually starting to think that maybe it really is possible that we're pregnant. And suffice it to say that when Ross made a wish as he blew out his birthday candles tonight, I had no doubt what he wished for. And, hopefully, within the next few days, we can make that wish come true.
