New Depeche Mode out today. After Ultra and Exciter, I was afraid that the Depeche Mode I'd known and loved for so many years had hung up their bondage gear and decided to make elevator music for the rest of their lives, but no. The boys are back and, while not quite better than ever, they are better than they've been in a hell of a long time.
Yep, it's official. Depeche Mode got their mopey lusty groove back. Playing the Angel is angstily delicious! Joy!
