Got an email from my niece, Bayley, giddily announcing that she got a kitten. The kitty's name is Chai, like the tea, and Bayley is nuts about it.

My sister called tonight and, since I wasn't home, she excitedly told Ross that she got a kitten. "The kitten's name is Chai, like the tea," she happily announced, obviously nuts about the cat.

When I got home, Ross immediately informed me that my sister got a kitten. "It's name is Chai, like the tea," he said, before I had the chance to tell him that Bayley had already told me all about the cat.

So, just in case anyone missed the announcement on CNN, my sister and her family got a kitty. It's name is Chai, like the tea, and they're a wee bit excited about it. So if you see a news story about a family spontaneously combusting with joy over a kitten, you know who it was.
