After emailing her to tell her I'd found her blog and warn her to be careful online, I really wasn't expecting her to say that I'm the coolest aunt ever, but I'm not going to argue with her. By the time she reached her teens, I thought she'd come to see me as an old fart and not want to spend much time with me, but I was wrong. If anything, we have much more in common now and have a blast whenever we're together.

If anything, the experience of being an aunt just keeps getting better and better, but that has little to do with me, and everything to do with the fact that Bayley is an phenomenal person. And, no, that's not family bias, it's the simple truth. I have the coolest niece ever!
