Title: Compulsion

May 11, 2005   At least Ross and I are speaking today. We wern't yesterday. There was only silence and anger between us. All because of a bloody segway.

There is a Timbers game Thursday night. There's also an electric vehicles assoc meeting the same night. Ross can't attend both, so he had to choose... Timbers game with me or hang out with a herd of geeks. His decision? Geeks. Yep, he has the chance to go to a soccer game with a busty blonde, but he'd rather go to geek masturbationfest instead. And he's in the doghouse, bigtime.

He's been so busy lately that I've hardly seen him, so it hurt my feelings when he turned down a night with me in favor of geekfest. And it really pissed me off when he sited my helping him to take care of his ear infection as spending time together. Ear drainage is not my idea of quality time, nor is it Ross', but the chance to see a segway has him writhing with lust, and lust can make you do dubious things. Like neglect your wife then act like you don't know why she's upset because, after all, you did let her stuff cotten in your ear.

And there's also the issue of Ross missing the Timbers game. The last home game was 2 weeks ago, and the next home game isn't for another 2 weeks, so Ross missing the only home game in a month's time? Not Good. No one in their right mind comes between a soccer fan and their team, otherwise brawling, arson and rioting results, but Ross had to see that enacted in his own home before he truly understood. But my yelling obscenities and running round lighting the furniture on fire still wasn't enough to change his mind

But even though I'm pissed at him, I do love Ross enough to not want to totally defame him in an online journal. The vast majority of the time he's a very giving person that spoils me rotten, he just has a strange, all encompassing lust for electronics that makes him a bit wonky sometimes. Said the maniacal soccer fan as she raged about missing one game. Ahem.
